Not Quite a Review: How Snakewood Restored My Faith in Grimdark Fantasy

I have a confession to make.

Despite being early enough on the Joe Abercrombie train to eagerly await the publication of Before They Are Hanged, I don’t really like the genre of grimdark. At least I thought I didn’t.
